St Peter's Boys and Girls Combined Junior Prep Camp Out

  • October 07, 2015 | Diane Fraser

The Junior Prep Camp Out took place in the third term of 2015. This was the first joint camp out with both the Boys Junior Prep and Girls Junior Prep families attending so it meant that the fields were full of tents and people. There was added excitement around the event as South Africa played a crucial game in the Rugby World Cup against Scotland and the PA ensured that everyone could watch the game by erecting 5 additional TV screens around Mvukuzane Pavilion. Families were able to sit on camper chairs or stand around and braai while still being able to watch our team play to victory! Most families took advantage of the braai's supplied and the boys and girls had a blast , playing with friends, roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories!

We estimated there were about 260 families who camped.  Thank you to the St Peter’s families for a fun filled evening!
