Mentorship
True mentoring is more than just a guiding role; it is a personal developmental relationship. It involves more than answering occasional questions or offering ad hoc help. It is about an ongoing relationship of caring, learning and dialogue.
From the moment new students start their high school journey at St Peter’s College, they are involved in a multi-faceted mentoring programme.
The programme has one objective: to help your child feel affirmed.
The Mentoring Programme is a network of prefects, teachers and grade heads, providing ongoing, supportive interactions.
Core Values Committee
The Core Values Committee is made up of a group of Grade 12 students who promote our values (relationships, respect, responsibility and resilience) within the school.
The Core Values Committee runs an Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) week every term whereby they record RAK conducted across the school for one week.
Grades compete against each other to be the ultimate group that shows an attitude of caring and support. This committee participates in various activities that promote ethical values and moral integrity.
Pastoral care
We have a qualified counsellor on campus every day. Students are free to seek help and confide in the counsellor about issues that are worrying them.
