Announcement: Executive Head 2025
Dear St Peter's College Community,
I am pleased to share an exciting update regarding the leadership transition at St Peter's College. After a thorough and rigorous recruitment process, the School Council has appointed Ms Annabel Roberts as the new Executive Head of St Peter’s College.
Ms Roberts brings with her a wealth of experience in the educational sector, having held significant leadership roles in several prestigious schools. Most notably, she has served as the Executive Head of Polokwane Preparatory School and College, where she led the institution through a period of significant growth and development. Currently, she is the Head of Senior School and Acting Head of Junior School at Roedean School (SA), a position that has further refined her strategic vision and leadership skills. Her commitment to academic excellence, holistic education, and strong community engagement aligns perfectly with the values and vision of St Peter’s College.
We are particularly proud to announce that Ms Roberts will be the first-ever female Executive Head at St Peter’s College. As the first female Chair of the School Council, this milestone holds special significance for me and represents a meaningful step forward in our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion within our school community.
Due to her current contractual commitments, Ms Roberts will officially join us in Term 2 of 2025. In the interim, we are fortunate to have Mr Brian Armitage, our current Deputy Head for Student Affairs, step into the role of Acting Executive Head for the first term of 2025. Mr Armitage is a familiar and trusted figure within our community, with a long history at St Peter's College, and we are confident that the school will continue to thrive under his experienced leadership.
As we prepare to bid farewell to Mr Rui Morais, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude once again for his outstanding contributions to St Peter's College over the years. His leadership has left a legacy, and we wish him all the best as he embarks on this new chapter in Portugal.
We are equally excited to welcome Ms Roberts to our community. Her dynamic leadership and passion for education will undoubtedly take St Peter’s College to new heights, and I am confident that she will continue to build on the solid foundation laid by her predecessors.
Thank you for your continued support as we navigate this period of change and transition. We look forward to the future with great anticipation and enthusiasm.
Yours sincerely,
Parmi Natesan
Chair of Council
