Foundation Donor Evensong and Cocktail Party
A magical evening was held recently, to celebrate the successes of our BigFutures, Social Responsibility projects. The donors and volunteers, who support this initiative in various ways, were honoured at an Evensong and subsequent Cocktail Party, hosted by the St Peter’s Foundation.
Various people spoke at the function: Mr Greg Royce – Rector of St Peter’s Prep, Mrs Monica Sloane - Foundation Manager and Mrs Kenda Melvill-Smith – Head of the Boys JP, described the purpose of and vision for the programme.
Beneficiaries of these initiatives shared how their lives have been transformed by the projects. Bonolo Molefe, newly appointed teacher and recent intern graduate, Sindisa Mramba, an old Boy, Kabelo Magale, a current intern and Lindiwe Molefe, Head of Sefikeng Primary School. It was moving and inspiring to hear.
It is by working together that we empower young individuals to improve their situations. Thank you to each one of the donors; our aim is to grow our initiatives to a bigger reach.
