Sports: An incredible start to Term 1, 2020

I am so proud of our students who have given everything on the sports fields, courts and pools this term. It has been remarkable to see them all make an impact.

We are extremely excited for half-term, where we will be hosting the Old Petrian’s Girls Water Polo and T20 Cricket Tournament. We wish our 1st team water polo girls and 1st cricket boys all the best as they do St Peter’s College proud over the course of the weekend. Again, we thank all our students who will be performing as first aiders, table officials and live streamers for giving up their half-term to assist in these tournaments.

After half-term, we start the transition between summer and winter sports which can be a bit confusing. So please look out for communication from the relevant MIC’s in the near future. Concussion Testing and Mouth Guard fitting will take place on the 9th March at St Peter’s College if you wish to use this service.

We would like to thank Nick Zografos from Tifosi Sports and ON South Africa for the generous sponsorship of ON footwear for all our sports staff. You can imagine the excitement in the Sports Office when the shoes arrived. St Peter’s College sports staff are now running on clouds!
