GRADE 5 GIRLS' "EXPERIENCE DAY" OUTING TO ST PETER’S COLLEGE
On Tuesday, 28 May, the Grade 5 girls, accompanied by four teachers, went on their much-anticipated ‘St Peter’s College Experience Day’ outing. The girls were welcomed by an outstanding Marimba performance by the students and later received the opportunity to watch a talent-filled musical showcase in the MADDitorium.
The girls were split into groups and taken on tours of the school. They observed and learnt more about the Project-based Learning Centre and the Science Labs. A round of basketball and experiencing the ‘white rhino’ kept their energy and fun levels up.
The girls were intrigued by all the different opportunities offered by the College and this was evident by the interesting questions they asked.
This was truly a worthwhile experience, giving our Grade 5 girls a glimpse into what lies ahead at high school.
