JUNIOR PREP MUMS AND DAUGHTERS CRAFT MORNING
The Junior Prep, ‘Mums & Daughters Craft Morning’ was held on Saturday, 14 May. Despite the chilly autumn morning, it was a very well supported occasion with mums and their daughters spending special time together.
The pairs worked on a project which required them to pool ideas and artistic talent and create a collage on canvas which then went home to be displayed. The school’s Entertainment Committee organised the event. Each mother and daughter couple received a pack, on arrival, which contained various materials and the canvas. Brightly coloured tables held different coloured paints which were used in the work of art. A buzz of activity ensued!
A wonderful tea was part of the fun. Delicious treats on a laden table with tea, cold drinks and even a glass of champagne for moms who enjoy the bubbly beverage! A very happy and enjoyable morning was had by all.
