St Peter's Boys Junior Prep Racing on Shrove Tuesday
All the JP boys enjoyed a fun filled morning today. Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday. It is a day of celebrating and feasting which precedes the observance of Lenten fast. People would use up all their ingredients in their homes on this day as the day after was when lent started. Our boys got to have relay races, flipping races and many other fun activities using pancakes. Boys then came back to class to enjoy a well deserved pancake treat.
