St Peter's Boys Prep - Flexible Learning Programme

It has been an interesting week for the Boys School, with the Flexible Learning Programme (FLP) producing much hard work and also a lot of enjoyment.  There can be no doubt that when the work is self-guided, interest driven and of a variable nature, most boys are keen to rise to the occasion and give of their best.  As was seen in the previous FLP, there are some boys who battle to plan effectively or who find it difficult to assess the level and quality of their work.  This is all part of a learning curve. For the majority, however, the opportunity to concentrate on tasks that they feel suit their capabilities has provided a platform to shine.

I thank the teachers, for whom this has been a very intense programme, for their adaptability in role and care for individuals throughout the week. 

There will be a full round of data gathering following this week and we will analyse this and use it to inform both our FLP and ICT Integration programmes as we go forward.
