The Official Opening and Blessing of the Boys Junior Prep
Today, Friday 26 June 2015, was a mark in history for St Peter's School. The New St Peter's Boys Junior Prep was blessed by The Rt Rev Dr Steve Moreo, Bishop of Johannesburg in a beautiful and moving service, attended by the boys Grade 0 to 4, parents, staff and dignitaries. The service was held in the main library area of the school. The boys sang beautifully, prayers and blessings were given, followed by the unveiling of the Junior Prep plaque with the cutting of balloons, declaring the Junior Prep open for many generations to come.
There was a 1,5m x 1m cake made for all the boys to eat after the ceremony and the boys tucked in with enthusiasm before heading off for the half term break.
