Shrek Comes to Life on Stage
Dodson Hall came alive as Grade 6 and 7 boys stepped into character for their latest production, bringing a lord, a princess, a donkey, and Shrek himself to life.
From an unscrupulous lord and a feisty princess to an outspoken donkey and the beloved Shrek himself, this colourful cast brought the stage to life with non-stop energy. The production team delivered first-class performances and endless laugh-out-loud moments.
The Grade 6 and 7 boys really got to shine, both on stage and behind the scenes. While some impressed with their singing, acting and dancing, others worked hard managing the sound and lighting to ensure the performance ran smoothly.
The production was the result of many hours of preparation and teamwork, providing pupils with valuable learning experiences and memories that will last for years to come.
Congratulations to the Performing Arts team for delivering a successful production and to the Art team for creating an imaginative set and creative props that helped bring the story to life. Well done to all the boys involved for their hard work, commitment and entertaining performances.
